Mitch Grasso and Mike Lingle created SlideRocket in 2006.
SlideRocket Inc. is a privately owned, venture funded, San Francisco based company dedicated to building the best presentation software.
Then you need to give your email, password, first name, last name, and information about your company (if you are in one).
To make your presentation log in and go to the tab labeled presentations.
Click new presentation, then enter your presentation's name and pick a theme. Then get started on your presentation!!
If you want to import an existing presentation, click on the tab import power point.
It then gives you the option of importing them as images or converting the presentation to SlideRocket.
However, you may lose some of the functions on your original presentation, such as action buttons, animations, auditory applications, and may move your pictures and change your font a little.
You can install an offline player too. This lets you give your presentation even if you are not connected to the internet at that time.
When you are finished with your presentation, you can invite your friends/colleges/etc., etc to view the presentation.
To do this, publish your presentation and lets you decide if they need a password to view it, if they can print it and the like.
To actually share it you need to be in the same company (or make up a company name).
You can also set up meetings where up to 50 people can view the slides at a specific time.
Files are stored securely on the internet to reduce the chances of them getting lost

There are a number of different plans available depending on what you need to do with the software. The free plan includes 250MB of storage space for an unlimited number of presentations; both the free plan and individual account do not allow securing of presentations. The Business plan costs $20 per month, per user. Each user on a business plan is allowed 1GB of storage space and an unlimited amount of presentations. When on a free 30 day trial no matter what account you are using the limit will be set at 250MB, and there will be a maximum individual file size of 200MB on individual and business accounts, while there is a 15MB per file limit on the free account. The free 30 day trial accounts do not require a credit card to sign up, this means you can try them out without worrying about them charging you if you don’t end your trial on time.
